Consilium is celebrating over 10 years in operations serving SME clients.
Consilium started its journey as an official coaching partner with Winning Pitch on the Welsh Government Accelerated Growth Programme, providing trusted advice to ambitious start-ups through to successful scale-up companies. Consilium was awarded the “Endorsing Body” status of the UK Home Office. Here Consilium supported foreign Entrepreneurs and Innovators in setting up Tech Businesses in the UK and validating their ideas to the UK Home Office. Consilium launched “Innovator Founder Service” due to the changes at the UK Home Office for Innovator visa routes. Consilium has now the “Legacy Endorsement Body” status from the UK Home Office. Consilium supports the preparation efforts of new applicants looking to apply for the new Innovator Founder Visa.
Derived from our years of experience from above, we are a firm of choice for international entrepreneurs looking to expand to the UK and beyond. Our experience has been gained from the vast number of clients we have served successfully, to make the transition to becoming multi-national firms. Our clients have come from countries such as China, India, Gulf, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt to name a few.
Our role doesn’t end with establishing the client’s branch in the UK instead it is a beginning of a relationship where Consilium provides accountancy, legal, regulatory compliance and operational support leaving the entrepreneur to focus on the business. We work along with the Wales government teams to access their schemes supporting foreign businesses setting up shop in the UK. Where required we bring in senior experts on fractional basis as Directors and key people to represent the client’s UK branch to regulators and clients. This is a cost-effective approach to generating trust and spearhead growth in the new market.
Over the years as we listened to our client’s needs, one thing led to the other and sure thing we assist clients in their Equity raise whether as a referral or through our FCA registered AIF. Further, to facilitate the client’s personal investment needs, the fund offers opportunities to invest into the property market as well. This maybe for rental income or participate in development projects.
